To say Muthoni Drummer Queen’s album ‘SHE’ is great would be an understatement; the 12-track feminist manifesto is simply out of this world.
However, all good things must come to an end, and MDQ has released the last music video from the album. Titled ‘Elevate’, it is the seventh single from ‘SHE’ and produced by Swiss producer duo GR! & Hook.
Elevate is an uplifting ode to Nairobi, its creatives and their collective dream of a bigger and better environment for their craft.
It is Muthoni’s personal ambition and aspiration for herself and the creative community in Kenya, and her hope that this generation of Kenyan creatives shatter all boundaries and break all ceilings for the next generation of artists coming from Kenya.
