Because everything Anita Nderu does is ‘Extra Extra’, the popular media personality is now celebrating what she calls ‘tradiversary’.
Apparently, a tradiversary is a celebration of the day Anita Nderu wed Barrett Raftery in a traditional wedding at the Fort Smith Gardens in Loresho.
The former Capital FM presenter and Barrett marked their tradiversary on Monday, September 5.
Anita took to Instagram yesterday to gush over Barrett while recounting some memorable moments from their traditional wedding.
“Happy Tradiversary to us❤️ I Love this man so freakin much❤️ @barrettraftery. Feels like I have known him my whole life!
“A year ago today we were sipping muratina, sitting through endless negotiations and celebrating the merging of two families and cultures with our families, relatives, bride and groom tribe and close friends❤️ We are very grateful for all of you and love you oh so much❤️” she wrote.
Anita also mentioned that during the Ruracio negotiations, Barrett gave her mother a camel.
“So much has happened since then, it’s incredible how time flies beautifully when doing life with your person❤️
Also😄 The camel he got my Mum is still chilling and making friends in her new home, took us a while to figure out how to make a 🐫 a pet😄” she wrote.
The 32-year-old content creator and Barrett Raftery, 38, will this Friday, September 9, be celebrating their wedding anniversary.
