Lupita Nyong’o Rumoured For Star Wars Role

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is rumoured to have been interviewed for a role in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Nyong’o met with producer J.J. Abrams a few weeks ago, just before the Academy Awards.
The Kenyan actress has only featured in 2 major films, with her latest (Non Stop) in theaters right now. She has been mentioned for several other roles including the high-profile Tiger Lily in Warner Bros.’s Pan. She is also in the running for a role in  The Whole Truth, a courtroom drama starring Daniel Craig.
Though her next film remains a matter of speculation, it’s clear she’ll have a busy season. Her father last week hinted that she’ll be busy for a while and may not visit Kenya soon.
