Kenyans Plan To OCCUPY PARLIAMENT – 14th May 2013

May 6, 2013
It is so unfortunate that the first activity undertaken by the newly elected member of parliaments is to raise their salaries through the disbandment of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
It’s surprising how they’ve all agreed on this one, disregarding public opinion. Shamelessly, they decided their Sh1.2 million salary is too little, then looked for reasons to justify their stand later.

Now, some activists led by Boniface Mwangi, are determined to show the MPs that voters are in charge of the country.
Borrowed from Occupy Wall Street, they’ve come up with Occupy Parliament.
