New KeMusic: Ochungulo Drop Governor Lonyangapuo-Inspired Track – Watch

July 17, 2019

Kenya’s fast-rising street music hitmakers Ochungulo Family are impressively keeping the Gengetone fire burning following the release of their new smash record – Kaa na Mama yako.

‘Kaa na Mama Yako’, Swahili for ‘Stay with your mother’, is the newest slang in town. It was coined and made famous by the highly acclaimed Governor for West Pokot county John Krop Lonyangapuo.

The Ochungulo crew of Benzema, Dmore, and Nellythegoon have wasted no time, creatively tapping into the governor’s remarks to make another heavy street anthem.

As we have come to expect from Ochungulo, the video is a twerk fest featuring a bevy of scantily dressed beauties.

Watch ‘Kaa na Mamayako’ below. Rating 7.5/10. If comparisons are anything to go by, this track is much better than Ethic’s recent train wreck with Otile Brown.
