Diamond Platnumz and Zari Hassan are undoubtedly the ‘it couple’ of East Africa and beyond. For years now, the two lovebirds have constantly made headlines over their “odd” relationship.
While their romance was first looked down on by a majority of their fans, the Ugandan and the Tanzanian showbiz players have grown quite the thick skin and they are now more accepted.
The main issue of contention happens to be their age difference. The Ugandan businesswoman is 37 while the Tanzanian music sensation turned 28 last October.
While such an age difference between lovers is nothing new in the modern world, it is still quite a shocker if looked from a different perspective.
That’s exactly what has happened after a picture emerged on the internet showing the controversial couple when they were younger.
While we are yet to verify the authenticity of the claims, whoever leaked the image says the pictures were taken in 1993. That means Diamond was only 4 years old while Zari was barely a teenager.
