Diamond Platnumz’s estranged stepfather Mzee Abdul Juma is appealing for help to treat a chronic illness that has been affecting his legs for years.
In an interview with a Tanzanian news outlet, Mzee Juma said he has since been diagnosed with skin cancer.
Mara nyingi nakua okay mara nyingi ugonjwa unanirudia,” he said.
Mzee Abdul hailed his daughter Zubeida, who lives in the UK, for helping him get medical attention.
Namshukuru. Namshukuru sana.”
Mzee Abdul lamented that his estranged son Diamond Platnumz had promised to take him abroad to seek better treatment.
This however changed after the musician disowned him last year after it emerged that his biological father was the deceased Salum Iddi Nyange.
Ikatokea tofauti.”
Abdul Juma asked well-wishers for help, saying: “It is hard for people to understand what I am going through.”
