‘State House Mtaonea Viusasa!’ Ngilu Warns NASA Co-Principals

June 18, 2021

Kitui governor Charity Ngilu has warned former NASA co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula that State House will remain a pipe dream if they choose to go it alone in the 2022 elections.

Ngilu called on the four presidential hopefuls to reunite under one umbrella to stand a better chance of clinching the top seat.

The county boss recounted how she and Raila both lost the presidency in the 1992 and 1997 elections because they ran individually but only won in 2002 when they backed Mwai Kibaki.

“2017 tulikuwa NASA na kina Raila, Kalonzo, Musalia, Wetangula…na tulikuwa tunasema kuna vitu tunataka kufanyia Kenya yetu. Hiyo, kwa sababu Jubilee iliingia, haikufanyika. Na pia tulipata handshake, na wote wanne waliingia kwa hiyo handshake wakasema ‘tuko na wewe Uhuru Kenyatta,” said Ngilu when she appeared for an interview on Radio Citizen Thursday morning.

That is the truth.”

Ngilu also called on the political leaders to push for Kenya’s development agenda instead focusing on their own interests and benefits.
