Everybody’s favorite philanthropist, musician Akothee, has got Turkana buzzing with excitement and hope once again.
A little over a month after her first round of distributing food, water, and donations to the drought-ravaged people of Turkana, the revered musician has returned with more goodies.
Akothee was initially slated to travel to the NorthWestern region about two weeks ago but was unable due to her father falling sick. She, however, promised to travel to personally oversee the ongoing projects as soon as her dad recovered.

Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday night, Akothee posted pictures of her grand arrival and captioned them, “The arrival of the mother queen, launching of the 6 boreholes, 6 rescue centers, 6 medical camps and food donations in Turkana. Thank you soo much for supporting Kenya for Kenya, the government is you and me, take initiative and touch lives if not a life.”
In addition to delivering food donations, Akothee also interacted freely with the locals, more so with the elderly.
In one post, Akothee highlighted the story of a blind and deaf woman who lives with her elderly mother in law with no one to attend to them.
