Citizen TV news presenter Lillian Muli is off to Diani beach for a babymoon.
Muli, who has been sharing her pregnancy journey with fans and fellow expectant mothers, said in a post that she landed in Mombasa on Monday, June 4. She checked in at the high-end, five-star luxury Swahili Beach hotel in readiness for some much-needed downtime.
"I’m totally in Love with this place," she posted after checking in one of the suites with traditional Arab and Swahili decor.
"Suite fit for a queen because mummy needs this," she added.
Taking to the gram on Tuesday to remind other expectant mothers on the importance of taking a babymoon vacation, Lillian said: "Let's face it: These next few weeks are probably your last chance for some real alone time. Common sense dictates that your health (and that of your growing baby) are paramount as you plan your trip: consider the availability of healthcare wherever you’re going, make sure that you have appropriate insurance or access to money and talk to your midwife and doctor before you book. You can choose to head off on holiday with either your partner, friend or a loved one before baby comes."
