As we get closer to the 2017 elections, politicians are going into overdrive in a bid to impress voters. We have seen countless ‘projects’ that have been launched ceremoniously, and we are yet to see more.
The latest one was witnessed in Kisii County when a political aspirant officially opened a wooden bridge. It was a ‘colourful’ affair, in which banana leaves were used as ribbons.
Four crates of sodas, which are said to have cost more than the ‘bridge’, were provided as refreshment for the glorious occasion.
