In these troubling times, GSU’s Recce Company has become the hope of Kenyans. Their skills in dealing with terrorists in tight situations have won them accolades, and the government is still struggling to explain why it deployed them to Garissa University 9 hours after the attack had started.
Despite members of this elite squad risking their lives time and again, their salary is nothing commensurate.
