March 25, 2014

kaydee_mainFollowing in the footsteps of Dj Joe Mfalme, Dj Kaydee has become the second Kenyan DJ to land a show in a UK station this year.
Kaydee will have a weekly show at BBC1Xtra, a radio station owned by BBC World Service. The show is set to start on Thursday.
Earlier in the year, Joe Mfalme landed a show at UK TV station – Box Tv in a subtle move that shows Kenyan deejays are finally getting international recognition.
“I am very excited about this and it shows that Kenya is recognised out there,” Kaydee told Nairobi News.
The self taught spin master started spinning right after high school and is well known for his sonic creativity incorporating a wide range of musical genres from soul, funk, hiphop and even samba.
He currently hosts a show at Homeboyz Radio.
