PHOTO of Kleptomaniax Back in The Day

In yet another throwback edition we feature one of Kenya’s premier hip hop groups, Kleptomaniax.
The group consisted of Roba (Robert Manyasa), Collo (Collins Majale) and Nyashinski (Nyamari Ongegu) and was formed in 1999 when they were still in High School. Their biggest hit was and is still Tuendelee, a diss track that targeted artistes who were against their kapuka style of music.
The trio has since ventured into solo projects with Collo the only one relevant in the music industry today. Nyashinski moved to America and Roba could not keep up.
