The Star is reporting that Jacob Juma, the businessman who last week accused Mining Minister Najib Balala of demanding a Sh80 million bribe, is getting ready to table evidence.
Juma said that Balala had asked for the bribe, so as not to cancel Cortec’s mining license. Apparently, the businessman is gathering every available evidence, in readiness for the suit he’ll file against Balala later this week. The paper says that this includes an audio and video recording of Balala in the act.
We’ll have to wait and see how this develops.
