Nairobi Girls Chorale, finalist on Kiss TV’s reality show, Kwaya will reportedly be performing at Old Trafford ( Manchester united home stadium) this April during half time of an unspecified match. The girls choir group has been one of the impressive choirs in the show that airs on Sunday. Apparently, the group’s director is a huge fan of Manchester United and often posts comments on the club’s Facebook page. On one occasion, he supplemented the usual comment and like with a video of his choir bringing down the house on Kwaya.
Elizabeth Njoroge, a judge for the show Kwaya confirmed this.
“They have now been invited to perform at a Manchester United game in April. They are scheduled to leave on 24th April. They will also be performing for another event to raise money for breast cancer.”
Back in 2009, the group performed at the All Africa Conference of Churches General Assembly following an invite.
