When Deputy President William Ruto was brought to task about their 5 stadium promise during the launch of Jubilee manifesto, he surprised everyone by stating that Jubilee had not just delivered 5, but had gone over and above by building 9 stadiums.
He went on to list them and included one by the name Kamariny Stadium in West Pokot. This one was however later revealed to be in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet.
As expected, majority of Kenyans could not believe that 9 stadiums had slipped them. This forced Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen to post visual proof of Kamariny Stadium.
“Kamariny Stadium in EMC; One of the Stadia under construction thanks to Jubilee Administration!” he tweeted alongside this picture.
