Weeks after he announced his intentions of casting his net in the political field, popular entertainer DJ Kaytrixx has embarked on a meet-the-people tour in his hometown Mombasa County.
Kaytrixx, real name Kabochi Gakau, will be running for Member of County Assembly (MCA) in Mombasa County’s Mikindani Ward in the upcoming 2017 General Election.
While interacting with constituents, the skillful 26 year old disc jockey got down and dirty and participated in a clean up exercise.
Sharing photos on social media, he wrote, “Meeting some of the people halafu tukafanya usafi kidogo because garbage is piling up na vijana wakapata at least something to do. You don’t have to have much to make a difference. Polepole tu we will get there.”
