Keroche Breweries apparent heiress Anerlisa Muigai has courted controversy after accusing women of being bitter about her transformation and success.
According to the NERO founder, Kenyan women have been ‘salty’ ever since she lost over 60 kgs from 124kgs when she began her weight loss journey two years ago. In addition to her remarkable transformation, Anerlisa reckons women are bitter because of her successful water bottling business and the fact that she is always happy.
“I am very aware that most women have grown this bitter side about me. It has grown since I transformed my body, since having a successful business and also the fact that I am always happy no matter what…makes them sad,” said Ms Muigai.
The 30-year-old businesswoman appeared to be responding to some negative comments that were made about her outfit during a night out with friends at Kiza Lounge.
Anerlisa had stepped out in a black see-through outfit that was deemed indecent by a section of Kenyans online.
But Anerlisa showed thick skin as she wondered why women don’t support each other.
“Why is it that women we don’t support other women doing good? ”
She added: “I am very strong about empowering women and I believe in positive energy. I also decided to never respond to any negativity said about me, I will always rise above that.”
