Businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai was full of praise for President William Ruto following their meeting on Wednesday, March 12.
The Chief Executive Officer of Nero Company Limited met the Head of State at the State House in Nairobi, later taking to social media to share her thoughts about the meeting.
Anerlisa said she was pleasantly surprised when President Ruto asked her a question about her business.
“His opening question was a heartfelt surprise; “Why haven’t you tried to sell your water to me?” His understanding of the struggles of local entrepreneurs is encouraging. And the answer is clear,” said Anerlisa.
The Keroche heiress noted that during their discussion, DR Ruto was committed to ensuring state and government functionaries embrace “Made in Kenya” products.
“State and government functionaries must and should embrace “Made in Kenya” to support what Kenyans produce. KE Govt and County governments must consume Kenyan brands. It is one of the ways local brands can grow,” said the daughter of Nakuru Senator and founder of Keroche Breweries, Tabitha Karanja.
Anerlisa added that she felt blessed to have a president who understands the struggles of local entrepreneurs.
“I feel blessed that we have a president who gets it. Let’s brace for a new chapter.” She concluded.
