If you’ve ever owned a car then you will agree with me that the emotional attachment to your first ‘wheels’ is real. Some of us have even gone to the extent of naming our cars and assigning them a gender.
One of these people is media personality Betty Kyallo, who reunited with her first car on Wednesday, November 17.
Taking to social media, the former news anchor was seemingly overwhelmed as memories of her first car flooded back.
Betty Kyallo was the proud owner of a blue Subaru Impreza which she bought after her internship at KTN turned into a permanent job.
She named the car “Berry Blue”.
“Aki imagine today I saw my FIRST CAR ever🤩 Oh my I bought this car when I was confirmed after an internship at KTN☺️☺️
“Oh my goodness so many great memories. I was a “Subaru Girl” gosh I used to run the streets with this girl!!! Her name was “Berry Blue” Whoosh! It was loud and it had the cool black bucket seats,” she wrote.
According to Betty, reuniting with Berry Blue made her feel like she still owns her.
“Growth is Just so beautiful! Also, the current owner has maintained it so so well. I don’t know why it feels like it’s still mine though! 😂😂😂😂Oh my. Anyway sweet memories!!!!!!!!!!!!”
