The government through the Ministry of Health has released a list of isolation and quarantine facilities within Nairobi County where patients can seek help.
The daily cost of isolation at the facilities ranges from as low as Ksh2,000 to as high as Ksh5,200.
On the lower cost side, St George’s Girls High School in Nairobi on State House Road, which has 2,070 available rooms, will be charging Ksh2000 per day.
Nairobi School, The Kenya High School in Kileleshwa, and the Kenya Education Management will charge similar amounts.
Moi Forces Academy, Pangani Girls, Moi Girls High School, Lenana School, and Kenyatta University will also offer facilities at a rate of Ksh2,000 per day.
The Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) in South C will offer facilities at Ksh3,000 a day while the Kenya institute of Special Education (KISE) will charge Sh4,000.
JKUAT on Thika Road will also charge Ksh4000 and has a capacity of 600.
With a capacity of 1,184, the Cooperative University in Karen will charge Ksh 5,200 a day.
