Police in Nakuru have arrested a woman alleged to have stabbed her husband to death at a bar in Elburgon area.
Reports indicate that the 34-year-old woman was drinking at the bar where her husband Benson Chege worked as a waiter. Citizen Digital reports that she then went to a nearby butchery where she grabbed a knife and returned to the bar.
The suspect is said to have stabbed Mr Chege on the shoulder, killing him on the spot.
Sisters of the deceased said they were informed that their brother had been involved in a scuffle on Monday at around 11 pm.
When they rushed to the scene, they found their 33-year-old brother had already succumbed, the sisters said.
They reported the matter to Elburgon Police Station as detectives launched investigations.
