There are leaders and then there is Governor Kivutha Kibwana.
The Makueni County Chief has been winning the hearts, admiration, and praise of Kenyans not only for his impressive development record but for his easy-going leadership style that’s rare to find in Kenyan leaders.
Kivutha’s humility is without a doubt one of his biggest selling points. He recently demonstrated this when he hosted K24’s Betty Kyallo for brunch in her weekly Upclose show.
During the candid interview, Kivutha took Betty for brunch at his regular Kibandaski eatery in Wote town where he interacts with residents. On arrival at the mabati-structure eatery, the governor greeted patrons with a two-hand handshake, with viewers instantly taking notice.
“Wow. A whole Governor greeting wananchi with two hands?? Very humble…” wrote Damaris Obonyo.
“Humble governor indeed. I was struck by how he greeted the lady who owns the small hotel and the people he found there,” Jim Gikonyo added.
Kivutha’s signature handshake with almost everyone he meets has also caught the attention of Kenyans on Twitter. They have been sharing pictures of the governor while wowing at his humility and respect for others, irrespective of their social or political standing.
The governor’s humility, coupled with his recent achievement as one of only two governors[Nyandarua’s Francis Kimemia] to get a clean bill of health in spending, is why a growing section of woke Kenyans are ready to have him as president.

Imagine someone somewhere would rather physically fight for their tribe’s man than have this man in office.

Its called humility. When others are competing on who has bigger dick, Mr. Kivutha is whacking their asses politically by having qualities they would never imagine.
