Fast-rising YouTube sensation Ochungulo Family, best known for remaking popular Kenyan slangs into hit records, has dropped the remix of their banger ‘Na Iwake’.
The ‘Bora Uhai’ hitmakers have tapped The Kansoul to add their Genge flow to the street banger.
‘Na iwake’ is a famous Kenyan slang meaning light it up!
According to Ochungulo family, this song is inspired by the daily lifestyle of a Kenyan ‘youtman’ [youth]. It is a dancehall tune combined with ‘sheng’ lyrics to bring up a unique Kenyan sound that the Ochungulo crew hopes will be the future.
