The flamboyance often associated with Nairobi’s Matatu culture has struck the boda-boda industry in Eastlands area.
Somewhere in Embakasi West constituency, there exists a souped up motorcycle with three screens.
The boda-boda, registration no. KMDD 483S, is the talk of the town for its flamboyance. In an attempt to woo more customers, the boda-boda boasts of flashy lights, loud speakers, and three mini screens.
How is it possible for a motorcycle to have three screens, you might ask. Well, one of the mini screens is located behind the bodaboda operator’s helmet, another at the front of the bike, and the third at the back next to the number plate.
