Jubilee has been vote hunting in Western Kenya this week.
On Wednesday, Deputy President William Ruto was in Bungoma to beat the Jubilee drum. He was joined by Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba.
Addressing the crowd, Ababu said that Nasa leader Raila Odinga has a habit of ‘cleaning up’ politicians he previously demonized, once they join him.
“Ukiwa na yeye, wakati huo wewe ni malaika. Ukikosana uende kuwa na mtu mwingine, wewe ni shetani. Ukirudiana na yeye tena, dhambi zako zote zinatakaswa na unakuwa mweupe kama pamba.”
“When you are with him, you are an angel. When you join his opponents, you are the devil. When you return to him again, all you’re sins are forgiven and once again you are as white as cotton.”
He went on to give the example of Musalia Mudavadi who Raila accused of being part of the Goldenberg scandal, and Ruto who was with Raila after 2007.
