Former Classic 105 mid-morning presenter Tina Kaggia is planning to start her own radio station.
According to a reliable source who sought anonymity, the popular radio personality will launch the new station in February.
The news comes two weeks after Tina quit her lucrative job at Radio Africa’s Classic 105 FM. In her announcement last December, Tina said she left the job to focus on greater things.
“…I have hang my gloves. Not for good. For an extremely short while. I live for radio. I breathe for it. But at times you need to step back for a minute and focus on greater things. Time to build the Lion Empire,” she wrote.
That ‘greater thing’ appears to be a new radio station defined as “progressive, energetic and positive” and whose target audience is mature listeners.
