Gospel Singer Ringtone Parts With Ksh 50,000 After Ambush by Street Boys

Last week, gospel singer Ringtone reportedly had to part with Ksh 50,000 for street boys in Nairobi. The ‘Tenda Wema’ singer was shopping for spare parts for his car downtown when he was ambushed by a group of street boys.
After spending big bucks on the video of ‘Tenda Wema’ featuring Christina Shusho, the boys wanted him to prove that he was indeed loaded.
“They confronted me calling me ‘Sonko’ and insisting I should walk the talk. They did a verse of Tenda Wema, stretched their hands and said I should simply bless them with some money and leave,” Ringtone told Pulse.
“I ended up shopping for them and buying food for them, something that left me about Sh50,000 less. That was a big lesson for me. My heart was fulfilled,” Ringtone said.
That amount sounds very exaggerated!
