There was shock among residents of Kariobangi South, Nairobi County on Tuesday, after a couple was found lying in a pool of blood at the ground floor of their building, after reportedly jumping from the rooftop.
According to witnesses, the lovebirds were on a drinking spree at the rooftop the night before they were found dead. One of their neighbours said that she had seen the couple unusually happy the previous day and seemed not to be fighting, as was their norm.
It is not clear what caused them to jump but police have launched investigations into the matter to find out if there was a third party involved in the couple’s demise.
