PHOTOS – How Garissa Memorial Concert Went Down

Yesterday, a memorial concert was held in Nairobi in a bid to give a befitting last respect to Garissa University students who lost their lives after Al-Shabaab assailants invaded the institution killing 147.
Concerned citizens came out in large numbers to show their unison and solidarity in mourning the dead, as human rights activists marched with their placards bearing messages that called upon the government to ensure that such an inhumane act will never happen again in our nation. Celebrated artistes and entertainers were also part of the team that graced the event.
