Retired President Daniel arap Moi was over the weekend a victim of the never ending death hoaxes.
According to reports on Twitter, Mzee Moi had passed away at Aga Khan Hospital while undergoing treatment. The former leader, 89, had apparently died of cardiac arrest.
Nairobi senator Mike Sonko did not help the situation, tweeting “RIP our former leader”. He would later edit that on Sunday night to read, “RIP our beloved former leader Mutula Kilonzo.”
Anyway, several people confirmed that Moi was indeed alive and well, and strong as always.
