I bet 99% of Kenyans did not know this. In Star Wars episode 6 (Return of the Jedi), one of the characters spoke several kikuyu words. In this short clip, the alien, in what the world probably understood to be ‘alien’ language, speaks a whole sentence in Kikuyu.
“Atiriri, inyué haría murí haria muke haha… ” he says
That’s loosely translated to, “Hey you over there, come here.”
I also understand there’s some bit of Kalenjin towards the end..
