Machachari actress Elizabeth Aruwa, who plays Baha’s grandmother, is appealing for donations from well wishers.
Elizabeth has been diagnosed with colarectal cancer (cancer of the colon), and is due to travel to India for specialized treatment.
Atieno has acted in several other hit programmes, among them, Makutano Junction, Changes and Siri.
