Kenyan actor Lupita Nyong’o is playing a supporting role in an upcoming movie, “12 Years a Slave”.
The film is set for release in December, and will feature acclaimed actors such as Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness, Sherlock) and Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, X Men)
It is based on a true story of a man living in New York in the mid- 1800s who was kidnapped and sold into slavery in the Deep South.
