| The late njenga karume |
Veteran politician Njenga Karume has finally succumbed to cancer. The politician was just recently rumoured to be dead but that was just a false alarm, but on Friday, he died at the Karen hospital. Njenga Karume was a self made billionaire and has served in various ministries. He was a very close friend to Kibaki and the president’s message of condolence read,
“We thank God for the great moment we shared with a fine gentleman and political ally that Karume was to me and my family, and political associates and followers,”
He passed for a non tribal politician having declared his support for Raila Odinga, a luo. May God rest his soul in peace.
Meanwhile, The late John Michuki will be buried on Tuesday in Kangema, Murang’a.
