On Wednesday, motorists using Londiani-Muhoroni were forced to seek alternative routes after the bridge linking the two towns collapsed.
Huge traffic snarl ups formed on both sides with motorists not knowing what had happened. Crowds of curious residents also formed to see the rare scene. Incredibly, the barriers were left standing.
