After months of heated campaigns at the University Of Nairobi, no man has been able to match the influence that Babu Owino has over his fellow comrades. Babu has yet again been elected the SONU chair after beating his opponents hands down to emerge the UON’s student leader.
The win has seen him get lots of praise, with most people terming him the master of campus politics because this is the third time he is winning the chairmanship position. The elections that took place on Friday, had Owino lead his closest rival with over 15,000 votes.
However, with allegations of possible rigging, the elections have not been smooth as some of the students have caused havoc after refusing to concede defeat. Well, that aside, here is how KOT reacted to Babu’s historical landslide win.
