Justina Wamae could not help herself as she derided Prof George Wajackoyah on Monday after the Supreme Court upheld the victory of Deputy President William Ruto.

The Roots Party leader and his running mate have had a public falling out in recent weeks, especially after they managed just a little over 61,000 votes in the Presidential election.

Their bone of contention was majorly over Wamae’s endorsement of President William Ruto, which Wajackoyah claimed had ridiculed and misrepresented their party.

On Monday, Wajackoyah was among those who witnessed the Supreme court confirm Ruto as Uhuru’s successor.

After the ruling, Wajackoyah addressed members of the press outside the courts and welcomed the verdict read by Chief Justice Martha Koome.

He also vowed to keep Ruto’s government on its toes as a member of the opposition.

Wajackoyah however suffered an embarrassing moment after the journalists snubbed him during his address and turned their microphones and cameras to Ruto’s lawyers led by Kithure Kindiki.

A video of the incident has since spread like wildfire on social media, and Justina Wamae was among those who found amusement at the expense of Wajackoyah.

She retweeted a video shared by NTV and wrote: “Despite INTIMIDATIONS AND THREATS πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. woiiii Media imeenda kwa IMPORTANT PERSONS.”

Justina added that Wajackoyah’s remarks confirmed that he was a State project. She claimed the Roots party leader was also angling for a job.

“Ati 6m wapi Roots ilipata 61,969? But ni confirmation alikuwa PROJECT…..pia yeye ALIKUWA anatafuta kazi isipokuwa BET IMEUNGUA. #SupremeCourtruling” read a tweet from Wamae’s official Twitter account.

Below is a video of Wajackoyah’s address and some tweets from Justina Wamae.
