Elvis Turasinze, a Kenyan rapper living in the UK, found himself in the corridors of justice after his neighbors protested of booming bass and heavy hip hop beats emanating from his apartment, thundering through their walls 24-hours a day.
The aspiring rapper has had 15 visits from the council, one noise abatement order and one court appearance. Even after the court ruling requiring him to switch off the loud music, the rapper is still adamant he did nothing wrong. He says, “I just went to court with the truth, the truth being that I wasn’t causing no one a nuisance with the music, I didn’t really get what they were talking about.”
He’d better watch out before worse gets to worst.
