We’ve all done things we’d rather forget. Some we have told our friends, but others are too embarrassing to tell. This one by Facebook user Javan Narshon, I believe, falls in the latter category.
However, he has gone ahead and shared it with the world.
It’s a good lesson on why it’s wise to do a bit of research, and if that’s not possible, there’s no shame in saying No.
Here’s his post.
Today marks the 6th month since I was robbed of 52,000/= by a lady who didn’t even know how to spell my names. A lunchbreak meeting that I had projected to cost me nothing more than 5,000/= suddenly changed to be a complete ripoff when she ordered 30 Year Old Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch. But since I didn’t know the price, I just accepted. I was shocked when the bill was brought. My friends, I sweated almost exclusively around my butts. But since I didn’t want to put myself to shame, I paid. The worst thing is that she didn’t even open it. She carried it home intact like a souvenir. She killed the best chance I had of tasting it. Awuoro!!!!
