Akothee has revealed plans to fly her entire bridal team to Switzerland for her second wedding.
The celebrity musician tied the knot with Denis Schweizer in a star-studded wedding at the Windsor Golf Hotel, Nairobi, on April 10, 2023.
Their second wedding is scheduled for July in Denis’ home country, with Akothee announcing she will be flying with her 17-member bridal team.
“Allow me to introduce to you to The Royal Bridal Party gang, our super gang heading to Switzerland for July 10, 2023, Esther Weds Denis. The whole of this YEAR I am getting married start your planning next year,” she wrote.
The bridal team includes Akothee’s daughters, Lang’ata MP Phelix ‘Jalang’o’ Odiwuor, Milly Wa Jesus and her husband Kabi Wa Jesus, Azziad Nasenya, among others.
Since her highly publicised nuptials, Akothee, through her social media, has been reliving some of the memorable moments of her big day.
In a post on Sunday, Akothee reserved special praise for her daughters – Vesha, Rue Baby, and Fancy Makadia for organizing the wedding.
She shared photos of the girls fighting back tears during the wedding and wrote: “My children are my strength my pride and my achievements. All I have achieved in life I give them credit. My whole family do or die. Tears of joy seeing mummy finally happy and Off the market.
“My children planned everything, they organised themselves in such a way, one was in charge of Accounts and paying bills @veshashaillan, vesha cracked a rapo with @misteromosh everything ran smoothly, the other one was in charge of guest list and confirmations @rue.baby in sink with @sandra_dacha.
@fancy_makadia was in charge of checking up on me and if all was okey, she did this virtually to make sure the bride to be is not running away, Fancy called me 7 times a day 🤣🤣, with mummy are you okay, calling me Mrs Omosh and laughing.”
