American singer and actor Rotimi has praised African women while revealing the traits that attracted him to Tanzanian Vanessa Mdee.
Rotimi, who was born in New Jersey to Nigerian parents, said African women are submissive and make great wives.
“When you have an African woman, you get a woman who is cautious about our understanding of how to treat a man and how to be submissive,” he in an interview with The Pivot Podcast.
The singer said besides being beautiful, Vanessa Mdee is a strong woman who knows how and when to be tough.
“It’s just a balance that is hard to find and I don’t say you don’t get that in American women, but a lot of African women are made to be queens in their minds and also to be great wives.”
Rotimi and Vanessa got engaged back in December 2020 and are rumored to be planning their white wedding.
