“Kenya Music is going through a very interesting time, a time of growth and a time of prosperity, this is the time to give the artist what they deserve!

“From the time I started working with Masauti I learnt that there are many artists out there who are talented but just lack support, they need a bigger voice to showcase what they have!! This is the opportunity!! The opportunity is @heavyjmusic the new and the latest music label in town!” Jalas announced.

The ‘Milele FM’ radio presenter further called on his fans to help him identify talented local acts that need to be nurtured. He also hinted that he will soon be availing the first musician signed under Heavy J Music.

“Please tag me some talented artists that we should consider in this journey! God above everything.”

Heavy J Music is the latest of a rising number of record labels started by Kenyan celebrities. Most recently, Otile Brown started JustInLove Music records to join the likes of Khaligraph Jones (BluInkCorp), Bahati (EMB Records), Willy Paul (Saldido), and others.
