The governor also stated he will not tolerate any theft or wastage of public resources in his government.

“The budget is reasonable and people-driven, whose agenda is to accelerate development and provide quality services to Wananchi.

“I thank the Machakos County Assembly and its leadership, led by the Speaker Hon. Florence Mwangangi, for passing the budget and which will certainly enable my government initiate the much needed development projects,” said Mutua.

Adding, “I call for prudent use of all funds allocated and will not tolerate any theft or wastage of public resources.”
