Run For Your Life If You Meet These Men, MP Warns Teenage Daughter

June 11, 2019

The Chairman of the National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Dr. David Ole Sankok has cautioned his daughter against dating a “photocopy of a man”.

The nominated MP was celebrating his daughter Naserian turning 19 years old. He told her to be on the lookout for men who copy others lest she falls for the ‘devil’s agents’.

“Remember there are only three rites of passage birth, marriage, and death. Anything else is a by-the-way.

“You are now an adult several years past puberty. I married your mother when she was 17 and I was 21 years.

“Get someone who lives his life without copying others because they may end up copying the devil’s agents. Again you may love a photocopy of a man and when their true image comes out it may be too late,” Sankok penned on Facebook.

The MP went on, “If you come across someone who; copies someone’s talking style by changing his ascent, copies the hairstyle of another, apply makeups to change God’s given colour, put on things that suggest he wants to change his gender or work hard to live a life of a Nigerian movie character. Please, my daughter ran for your dear life before he destroys all that you have worked for by forcing you to live a copied life.”

Sankok, however, said that despite it all, he will respect the man she chooses.

“Daddy will respect your choice no matter what and I will be glad to support you,”  he noted.

Last year, the MP rewarded his daughter with a car for scoring an A- in the 2017 KCSE examinations.
