The acrimonious ‘break up’ between former best friends Betty Kyallo and Susan Kaittany has reached a new low. This after the screen siren sought the help of the police in bringing her former business partner to book.
According to reports, the KTN news anchor, accompanied by two police officers, stormed Posh Palace and arrested Susan Kaittany on Monday for allegedly confiscating Betty’s passport.
According to sources at their former joint-business, a male and female officer left the high-end salon and spa with Susan.
“It looked like they were trying to intimidate Susan asking her why she is holding on to Betty Kyalo’s passport,” a source at the Salon said as quoted by the Star.
Apparently, Betty’s passport was left at Susan’s home after the two went on an exotic trip to Thailand in May last year.
It is still unclear why Susan retained Betty’s passport but with Betty no longer part of Posh Palace, it could be business related.
“How do you come with cops to someone’s place of work if you don’t want to intimidate them?” a witness who was at the salon at the time of the arrest posed.
When called for comment, Susan said that her lawyer was handling the matter and therefore, could not comment further.
Kaittany was taken to Kilimani police station. However, no OB was recorded.
“This is the only way we can talk,” Betty was heard saying while stating her reasons for calling cops.
While Betty is yet to comment on the matter, she took to social media to post a telling post about friendship.
She wrote:
