There was excitement in Nyahururu and parts of Elgeyo Marakwet on Tuesday after ‘snow’ came falling from the sky. This is not the first time this has been witnessed, but the phenomenon is quite rare.
Some people wondered whether this was a sign of climate change, thinking that the white matter was actually snow. However, it has now been confirmed that what was seen was actually hailstones.
