The ugly tussle over Sh9.5 million donated towards the treatment of Gladys Kamande has finally come to an end.
This is according to Ndungu Nyoro, the philanthropic man behind the funds’ drive. Ndungu had locked horns with Liliane Wairimu, an advocate who alleged that Ndungu had issued threats on social media.
The case has since been rejected at the office of the public prosecutor for lack of sufficient investigation.
Ndungu who has since agreed to release the remaining Sh5 Million, took to Facebook on Wednesday to announce that Liliane has withdrawn her charges against him.

You have heard from some friends that I was to be at Milimani court on Monday morning. The file was rejected at the office of the public prosecutor for lack of sufficient investigation. The investigating officer was tasked to conduct further investigation for more solid evidence.
I wish to thank Wahome Thuku who has been representing my position to tell our story. He has done it quite professionally and I am impressed.
I also received great input from Counsel HARRISON KINYANJUI who re-assured me that all was well and was committed to ensure justice was served. My sister and friend Wanja Wa Kinyanjui please pass my regards to him.
On the same day afternoon I received a call from a clergy who asked for a meeting which turned out to be a meeting of 3. Our host, Rev. Salome, took us to a lengthy discussion that ensured friends have been reunited.

Later in the evening, Lilian who is the complainant in this case drove me to my house and we had dinner with my family. She left at midnight, happy. My family was happy too.
This morning Lillian has formally withdrawn her charges against me, UNCONDITIONALLY. She prefers to have friendships nurtured. I too believe it’s the right thing.
