The General Election is barely three weeks away and as tensions rise, Kenyan musicians are playing their part in promoting a peaceful election.
The latest hitmakers to grace the list of peacemakers are Kymo and Stigah. The duo rose to prominence following the release of the game changing anthem ‘Thitima.’
They have returned with a new banger titled ‘Tamu’ (Swahili for Sweet). In ‘Tamu’, the hitmakers call for peace because it is sweet.
It was created simply to show that Kenyans are diverse and it is something to celebrate rather than to fight over.
The song’s video, just like their previous releases, is creatively done and features a host of Kenya’s public personalities.
